We recently were able to visit Disney Springs and see the newly opened sections. We could not believe what we saw. It had only been about a month since our last visit to Disney Springs and it is night and day. The interesting thing is that this visit we spent a few hours and never stepped foot on any of the Disney Springs that we had become accustomed to and that includes where we parked.
We began our visit by parking in the Lime Parking Garage which was unexpected as for months we have only been able to park in the Orange Parking Garage. We were pleasantly surprised by the opening of this garage since it is so much closer to the Marketplace, which is where we usually spend a majority of our time. When we finally passed through the bridge to Disney Springs from the parking garage we immediately were in awe at what was in front of us. The newly opened promenade was truly breath taking. I really didn’t know where to look first.
First time experiences like this are very special for us because the first time you take in new Disney “Magic” is the most powerful. We walked in and out of some shops but basically just walked through to get an overview. Some of the newly opened shops are Kate Spade New York, Sephora, Under Armour, Vera Bradley and more. You can also grab some gourmet cupcakes at Sprinkles or other tasty desserts from Amorette’s Patisserie or maybe a burger at D-luxe Burger. The exciting thing about this visit to Disney Springs is the fact that we enjoyed ourselves solely on the newly opened shops and restaurants. When you add in all that Disney Springs already had to offer, it is truly awe inspiring. Even better is the fact that Disney is still not finished with Disney Springs. We have so much more to look forward to seeing.
