I took another walk around the Caribbean Beach Resort on March 26, 2018 to check up on the current construction progress. There has definitely been progress since my last update in February. Here are some points of interest.
- Old Port Royale (Centertown) is coming along with new building construction. The new area will contain eating facilities, shopping and the main lobby and registration area. The Custom House, which is the current registration area will be moved to this new centralized area.
- The current entrance to the Caribbean Beach will close once construction is finished. The new entrance will run off of Victory Way, which is where the Art of Animation and Pop Century are located.
- Disney’s Riviera Resort is progressing along as well.
- The Disney Skyliner towers are in place near Trinidad South as well as the main loading and transfer station.
