It’s Official, Epcot has now joined the “uncovered” club as they have unwrapped a majority of the Disney Skyliner gondolas. Hollywood Studios was the first to show off their colors on May 9, followed by Disney’s Art of Animation and Pop Century Resorts on June 11. Now, June 14 will be Epcot’s own day in history.
It seems like only yesterday that the very first beam was installed behind the fence at the International Gateway and now we see beautifully colored gondolas gliding in and out of the station.
The International Gateway also provides wonderful views of the new Ratatouille ride construction. The entire facade is now covered giving us a good idea of what the final attraction will look like.
This second structure located across from the Ratatouille building and directly under the Skyliner tower, looks to be the new crepe restaurant coming with the brand new attraction.
It’s certainly exciting to see the incredible progress that Disney is making on both the Skyliner and Ratatouille projects. The Disney Skyliner is scheduled to open this fall, but may surprise us all with a late summer opening.
