We get to share some exciting news from Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort in regards to the newly remodeled Old Port Royale. The former Shutters table-service restaurant will open in an all-new location as Sebastian’s Bistro!
Now situated on the all new Old Port Royale waterfront, Sebastian’s Bistro will feature beautiful views, warm island hospitality and a menu that blends Latin and Caribbean flavors from market-fresh ingredients.
Everyone’s favorite red crustacean, Sebastian invites you to dine on island time. The casual, family-friendly restaurant will feel like you just stepped into a tropical beachfront home.
The restaurant will feature the natural beauty of the Caribbean with coral patters and kelp filigree along with under the sea landscapes showcasing Sebastian and friends.
Here is what the current construction of Old Port Royale and Sebastian’s currently looks like in August 2018.
We are also excited to share new visuals showcasing the resort’s quick-service dining location, Centertown Market.
Centertown Market will be expanded to create an indoor street market vibe. You’ll enter the space under a large palapa-like structure, accented with glowing, colored light pendants made from glass bottles. Here you will find unique seating areas, wooden light posts and open shutters. You will be able to find quick bites and specialty coffee from the Grab n’ Go market.
No official opening date has been announced, but a source at the Caribbean Beach said they are hoping for October 1, 2018 to coincide with the resort’s 30th anniversary.
Make sure to follow PASSPORT TO THE PARKS for future updates and menu options for both restaurants.
