For the second year in a row we attended the Halloween Spooktacular at Sea World Orlando. This event is held during the weekends in October. Sea World’s Halloween Spooktacular is not a hard ticket event, any guest with admission to the park can participate. There are several trick-or-treat stations throughout a few sections of the park dedicated for this activity. I really like how you are able to still enjoy the park when visiting if you are not looking to participate in the Halloween fun.
If you are looking to take part in the festivities then you will not be disappointed. There are large bubble machines along the walking paths that my son’s absolutely loved. Sea themed characters are walking or skating around and interacting with the guests as well as photo opportunities. There are dance parties and even an area where you can decorate your own cookie (for a small fee). Although both times we attended this event they seemed to have an issue with the logistics of keeping the candy stocked, on both occasions they quickly remedied the situation and candy was flowing once more. They are not shy about the amount of candy they are handing out either. The crowds are relatively low which means that you can actually enjoy the trick-or-treat process and they give you a nice and very sturdy bag to hold your loot.
Sea World’s Halloween Spooktacular has far exceeded our expectations and has been quite a lot of fun. I feel that Sea World’s Halloween Spooktacular is an amazing event to attend and we always have an amazing, relatively stress free time. If you are near Orlando next October definitely have it on your radar.
Since I rarely have the opportunity to write about Sea World I thought I would share with you some photos and video of our few hours in the park that day!
