For the second time in less than a year, Walt Disney World in Florida have increased ticket prices.
The price of a one day ticket admission went from $95 to $99 starting today. The increase comes during a time of growth at Walt Disney World, including the near completion of the New Fantasyland expansion at the Magic Kingdom as well as the beginnings of the new Avatar land at the Animal Kingdom.
Disney released an official statement “Our pricing reflects the high quality and breadth of experiences we offer and our ongoing commitment to investing in our parks. We offer a variety of ticket options that provide a great value, and find that most guests select multi-day tickets that offer additional savings.”
The Magic Kingdom was not the only park with an increase: One-day ticket prices for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Epcot all had an increase from $90 to $94. It is still recommended to use Disney’s multi-day ticket options…for example a 10-day ticket will only cost you $35.40 per day.
