Walt Disney World Photopass photographers will soon be replaced with automated cameras at various theme park locations.  Disney has confirmed that certain meet and greet locations will install several cameras that will take guest photos that may be viewed at a nearby kiosk.  Similar to ride photos, guests will be able to choose their pictures and scan them to a magic band.

The change is set for early 2019 and will include locations like Tony’s Town Square at the Magic Kingdom and Adventurers Outpost in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  There will be nine total location changes during the initial phase.

Thankfully, you will still find Photopass photographers at many other locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.
