Disney Skyliner Construction Walls Come Down Getting Us Even Closer To Opening

It now feels intimately closer as the walls are coming down around the Disney Skyliner station at Pop Century and Art of Animation.  You can almost reach out and touch the yellow arches and the gondolas feel so much closer, you can almost see yourself walking on board.

For nearly two years the wall that encompassed most of the Generation Gap Bridge, the wall that separated the Skyliner from all of us, is finally coming down.  Well, at least half of it.

It gives us a wonderful view inside the station, letting us see how the front and rear tracks look up close.  We get a perfect sense of what it will be like to walk into the station and prepare for flight.

With the walls coming down and the station near complete, it really gives us some hope that Disney could be getting ready to open before the projected fall time frame. We have long talked about the possibility of opening before Galaxy’s Edge and now seeing this strengthens that argument.
