The Disney Skyliner gondolas awoke from their slumber today, to once again fill the skies over Walt Disney World. After nearly 3 months, the brightly colored gondolas set out between Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Epcot.
Preparation is likely underway for a potential reopening along with the Walt Disney World theme parks beginning July 11.
Only one line was in operation today, leaving Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Art of Animation and Pop Century lines still empty. We hope to see all 3 lines in operation very soon.
Walt Disney World will be providing limited bus and watercraft transportation (with social distancing) for resort guests. Disney hasn’t released any information about the Disney Skyliner opening dates or social distancing guidelines as of yet, but we hope to hear something soon.
Thank you so much to my friend Chris for providing some great photos of the gondolas today!
